The following Security Council press statement was issued today by Council President Pascale Christine Baeriswyl (Switzerland).

Al-Jazeera Arabic broadcast this footage of the murder of four unarmed young men in the Al-Sika area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza in early February 2024.
Five Palestinians, including two children, were reported killed and others wounded near Al-Shati refugee camp northwest of Gaza City, when parachutes on airdropped aid crates failed to open. The incident happened at 10:30am in the morning of Friday 8 March 2024.
